The Gardeners’ Cottage at Schloss Unsleben welcomes you for enjoyable holidays for all the family. It nestles a stone throw away from the Castle on the edge of the Castle Yard with a view over the lovely countryside.
The historic character of the old half-timbered house in its wonderfully quiet position provides ideal conditions for relaxing days surrounded by the Castle atmosphere.
Should you have small children in your family we are prepared for them. Safety sockets, baby equipment, stair guards, etc., will enable you to enjoy a really relaxed stay. For the youngest ones there is a small sand pit in your own garden together with a natural small pond and lots of space to romp about. Perhaps the older ones would like to explore the close-by mill-stream or play football on the lawn.
The Gardeners’ Cottage offers 3 bedrooms with 5 beds. In addition we have provided a sofa bed in the lounge as well as a baby’s cot in a small extra room adjacent to the Master Bedroom and accessible only through there. That way your baby can sleep with you, but you can easily close the door to the baby room if you prefer.
The bedrooms are situated on the upper floor of the Gardeners’ Cottage. Doors and ceilings in the building are rather low – perhaps you have noticed this in other historic buildings as well? The bathroom (with bath) and a separate WC you will also find on the first floor.
On the lower floor there is a further separate WC. The well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable lounge also invite you to unwind – eat, read, play games, listen to music – enjoy it!
A lovely dining table in the kitchen will easily seat six people. The lounge is well appointed with Sat-TV, radio and CD. The whole cottage has a quiet, quaint and cosy atmosphere. The head gardener has lived there for generations. Today his grandson, co-owner of the Unsleben Garden Centre, manages the property which connects directly to your garden in front of the cottage. At close quarters you can watch small seedlings grow into wonderful plants.

3 bedrooms: 2 master bedroom with double bed; 1 bedroom with 1 single bed. Additionally a small nursery attached to the Master Bedroom with a wooden baby cot.
An extra sofa bed in the lounge – alltogether it sleeps 6 adults and one baby.
Fullly equipped kitchen with stove, fridge with freezing compartment, microwave, etc.

- Small garden with sandpit, natural pond and garden furniture.
- Terrace with lovely wooden floor, wooden childrens’ playhouse.
Arrival / Departure: You can arrive daily from Monday to Friday and depart any day.
